London artist Zilo has just released a new song, 'Water Me', with production from Jake Milliner, following on from the sassy sounds of her last single, 'Show Me What's Mine'. With her musical output high, melodies and words seemingly pour out of Zilo with ease and grace. On the new track, Zilo's vocals are honey-glazed and inflected with luscious R&B harmonies. Reminiscent of Erykah Badu's sound, the production features a slow-paced beat, pulsating sub-bass and twinkles of piano. 'Water Me' is one of Zilo's most intimate songs yet, her lyrics affectionate and warm, 'Come inside my garden I’m lost I wanna be found, you’re the sweetest flower I’ve got, you make me so proud, water me up my darling, can’t get enough'.
